What is the Saemaul Leader Volunteer Corps?
- The members of the Saemaul Leader Volunteer Corps serve as pioneers who share Korea’s experience with and skills related to Saemaul Undong and participate in the Saemaul Model Village project after completing special Saemaul Undong training (3 weeks) and courtesy training for Volunteer Corps Training members (2-3 weeks) in Korea.
- Under the partnership between the Saemaul Globalization Foundation and KOICA, Saemaul Undong leaders are dispatched as volunteers with the WFK (World Friends Korea) to developing countries (except for some countries that are not partner countries of KOICA).
- One team per Model Village (comprised of 5-6 people), serving for 14 months.
